Pediatric Periorbital Infections: 5‐Year Retrospective Study

Abstract: POSTERS(no perforation, no adhesion, no retraction, and no effusion) and preservation of hearing at 1 year after surgery. Results:The graft success rate was 85%, similar to adult patients. However, the defined success rate was only 54%. There were 8 cases with graft failure, 3 cases with retraction pocket, 3 cases with OME, 3 cases with pearl formation, 2 cases with adhesion of tympanic membrane, and 2 cases with postoperative abscess needing re-operation.
