Pelatihan Kader Posyandu tentang Pemeriksaan Gigi Sederhana di Posyandu Anyelir RW XII Kelurahan Kahuripan Kecamatan Tawang Kota Tasikmalaya

Abstract

This community service activity is aimed at all Indonesian people by emphasizing promotion and reducing the impact of systemic diseases that manifest in the oral cavity with early diagnosis, prevention and effective management of systemic diseases. Health development with special attention to vulnerable groups, including mothers, babies, pre-school children, and school children, the elderly, and poor families. The health service program carried out by the government can be carried out at the community Health centers, in the implementation of the activities the community Health centers always conducts activities at the integrated service post. Integrated service post is one form of community-based health effort which is managed from, by, for and with the community, in order to empower the community and provide convenience to the community in obtaining basic health services. Lecturers of the Dental Nursing Department carry out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, including organizing community service through Dental and Oral Health Services. The 2018 community serviceprogram is aimed at mothers of visitors to the RW XII Anyelir integrated service post, Kahuripan village, Tawang district, Tasikmalaya city, the objectives of the program are to increase integrated service post cadre knowledge about dental and oral health and to change family behavior. Besides being able to change health behavior, it is expected that the community service program can improve community knowledge by providing dental and oral health cadre training. The method used is by conducting counseling programs on dental and oral health and providing training on simple dental and oral examination (caries examination). The activity was held at integrated service post RW XII Kahuripan Village, Tawang District, where the activities were carried out by 3 dental health workers who were assisted by cadres in the local area.
