Material for handling social conflict and preventing it needs to be provided at every level of education, including elementary schools. The hope is that through this material, the teacher's role in teaching can teach learning methods for handling conflicts within the school. This research discusses children's role in handling conflicts around them. The curriculum focuses on conflict resolution with social learning and learning objectives in implementing learning. Social issues strengthen the curriculum's conceptual framework and are used to accept students from diverse backgrounds. Apart from that, social problems are also used to understand the sources of conflict management. The method used in this research is a literature study. The discussion results in this research indicate that students were given material regarding learning from life experience, group learning methods, and material about social and political conflict. Apart from that, students are also actively involved in social education activities. Through this process, it is hoped that students can develop the ability to overcome global political issues, as well as strengthen their ability to handle conflict and improve their academic competence.

Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial merupakan sebuah proses di mana siswa memperoleh pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap, dan pemahaman mengenai berbagai aspek kehidupan sosial, budaya, politik, ekonomi, dan geografis. Selain itu, pembelajaran IPS juga mengajarkan pendidikan karakter kepada siswanya, salah satunya toleransi dan kepedulian sosial yang mana dua karakter ini dimasukkan sebagai salah satu dari 18 nilai pendidikan yang ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia. Maka dari itu, pembelajaran IPS menjadi sentral pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar untuk mewujudkan karakter siswa yang beradab dan beretika. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti akan menggunakan metode penelitian yang melibatkan pendekatan kualitatif atau deskripstif dengan menggunakan berbagai sumber yang relevan, seperti buku, artikel, dan jurnal yang terkait dengan topik yang akan diselidiki. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang sangat penting di antara pembelajaran IPS dengan pendidikan karakter. Pembelajaran IPS memberikan dampak yang signifikan bagi pengembangan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar. Untuk itu, dengan melaksanakan pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar menjadi sangat penting agar para siswa memiliki pribadi yang beradab dari segi perkataan dan perbuatannya

A good knowledge book is a novel that can accommodate students in solving environmental cases, does not bring wrong thoughts, and can be presented to scientific laws. This book is very useful for teachers as a learning resource to improve student learning outcomes. Through the evaluation of Greene and Petty theory textbooks, this study intends to evaluate the caliber of grade II students' books on subject 4, Clean and Healthy Living, in primary schools. Researchers employed qualitative research methodologies and qualitative research analysis approaches in this study. According to Greene and Petty, the study used ten criteria for high-quality books. The data source used is the book of grade II student themes 4 of the 2013 curriculum. Data were collected during this study using documentation and observation techniques. The strategies used in this work for interactive model data analysis include data reduction, data storage, and data validation. The method used to collect data is sheet analysis, consisting of a set of data collection criteria and tools. Based on the study's results, grade II student books theme 4 of the 2013 curriculum scored 93,5% with high-quality categories.
