“…It has been our custom at the cardiovascular clinic, Sydney Hospital, to report experiences with new ganglion-blocking agents such as pentolinium (Bauer, 1955), chlorisondamine (Bauer et al, 1957), mecamylamine (Bauer et al, 1959), pempidine (Croll et al, 1961), and bretylium . We now wish to record our impressions of guanethidine after treating 28 patients for a period of up to 12 months.…”
