Abstract

Kajian ini dimulai dengan memahami konteks permasalahan masyarakat pedesaan dimana program pengentasan kemiskinan yang terjadi di masyarakat pedesaan seringkali gagal dan berdampak pada proses pembangunan pedesaan di Kabupaten Buru, Indonesia. Peneliti berasumsi bahwa kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat pedesaan yang dekat dengan sumber daya alam harus dimanfaatkan untuk keunggulan ekonomi dengan memahami potensi kohesi sosial dan strategi adaptasi yang mereka lakukan sehingga peneliti berusaha untuk mengkonstruksi kedua elemen ini menjadi pendekatan yang produktif dan berkelanjutan
