Teacher competence in carrying out Classroom Action Research (CAR) and presenting CAR results in the form of scientific work is a demand as well as a need in improving the quality of learning and teacher professionalism. The Chairperson of the MGMP IPA Malang city said that teachers' abilities and skills in conducting research still needed to be improved, especially for CAR research. The purpose of community service activities is to assist, direct, and collaborate with teachers in classroom action research activities and publish the results. The activities were carried out from June to December 2022. The mentoring activities were carried out in 3 Junior High Schools in Malang represented by one science teacher. Assistance is carried out online and offline. Assistance methods by means of lectures, brainstorming, discussions. The results of the mentoring activities resulted in 3 proposals and a CAR final report with different topics and CAR articles. Teachers have shown an increase in the ability to compile, apply and report CAR and scientific publications in the form of articles after the pre and post tests were carried out.

Pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru-guru SD dan SMP yang masih minim dalam melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dan mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah menyebabkan kesulitan untuk mengurus kenaikan pangkat. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan PTK dan penulisan artikel ilmiah bagi guru-guru SD dan SMP. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu metode pelatihan, diskusi, dan demonstrasi. Pelatihan ini melibatkan 13 guru-guru SD dan SMP yang berada di Kabupaten Merauke, Provinsi Papua Selatan. Tim pelaksana pengabdian ini melakukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui pemahaman guru dengan cara menyebar angket melalui googleform untuk mengetahui pemahaman guru terkait PTK serta teknik penulisan artikel ilmiah yang baik. Hasil pelatihan mendemonstrasikan bahwa 13 guru memiliki pemahaman yang baik terkait dengan pengetahuan PTK dan penulisan artikel melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan skor penilaian di tingkat persetujuan antara 6 dan 7. Selanjutnya, 10 guru berhasil menulis artikel hasil PTK yang selanjutnya didampingi untuk melakukan submit artikel di jurnal nasional. Pelatihan ini disimpulkan berhasil karena mampu memberikan pengetahuan yang berharga bagi guru-guru SD dan SMP dalam melaksanakan PTK dan menulis artikel ilmiah.

At SD Negeri Cibitung Kulon 01 Pagi the teacher still plays a role as a learning center so that students are less actively involved during learning. This condition makes mathematics learning less attractive in the eyes of students and as a result students are less enthusiastic during the learning process, so that the purpose of holding community service activities is to increase the understanding and ability of teachers of SDN Cibitung Kulon 01 Pagi about fun mathematics learning, while the method used is education in community in the form of socialization activities to increase participants' knowledge / understanding of how to create fun mathematics learning in class. with puzzle tetris math games. The results of the evaluation on the implementation of this PKM were obtained from the number of participants who attended as many as 15 people, 8 teachers understood the material very well or were in the high category, while 5 teachers understood maeri well and only 2 teachers did not understand the material that had been explained. The results of this evaluation are a benchmark that the PKM goals are achieved. The evaluation that has been given to the teacher is in the form of an essay question as many as 25 questions related to the material that has been delivered. The conclusion that can be obtained from the implementation of this community service program is: this socialization activity can increase teachers' knowledge about how to create fun mathematics learning in the classroom. Furthermore, the implementation of this community service activity program has been running smoothly and as expected, both by members of the extension team and community service program participants.Abstract written in English which contains a brief description of the background and objectives, methods of implementation, results and discussion, conclusions and recommendation for follow-up.
