Fluency in reciting the Koran is learning the recitation of the Qur'an in a tartil way. Based on the observations of researchers, the learning of tajwid in recitation and at school has not been effective so far. Because of this, both teachers and students at recitation or at school need improvement by finding out what can increase fluency in reciting the Koran and what has the most influence on improving fluency. So this study aims to improve the fluency of the Koran in students. The research method used is the Decision Tree data mining classification method with the C4.5 algorithm. The results of data processing with the C4.5 algorithm using the Rapidminer tools are attribute C1(fluency) being the most influential attribute for increasing students' reading fluency and performance data obtained with an accuracy of 83,33%.

The Indonesian Smart College Card (KIP Lecture) is a government program that has been implemented from 2020 until now. KIP Lectures are distributed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology through universities in each region. Where each university gets a different quota - based on the level of progress of the college. The provision of quotas for each university based on the accreditation at each university raises its own problems for these universities. The problem faced is that the number of new prospective students who register to take the KIP Lecture program exceeds the quota set for each university. The provision of KIP Lecture assistance to the wrong person will lead to misuse of assistance and also inappropriate targets. The acceptance of the selection process for new prospective students can be seen from the previous process that has been carried out. Data mining is a technique used to solve problems in large data processing. Decision Tree is an algorithm that is included in the classification technique in data mining. The process in the decision tree aims to group or classify data against their respective classes. The results of the Decision Tree algorithm are in the form of decision trees and rules, the results obtained are in the form of rules that can be used for future decision-making processes

One of the qualities of higher education is determined by the success rate of student learning. Assessment of student success rates is based on student graduation on time. Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University Riau is one of the state universities in Riau, with a total of 30,000 students. Of all the active students, there are some who are not. Students who are not active in this case will affect the timeliness of their graduation. The university always evaluates the performance of its students to find out information related to the factors that cause students to become inactive so that they are more likely to drop out and what data affect students being able to graduate on time. The evaluation results are stored in an academic database so that the data can later be used as supporting data when making decisions by the university. This research used data science concepts to explore and extract data sets from databases to find models or patterns, as well as new insights that can be used as tools for decision-making. After the data was explored, machine learning concepts were used to identify and classify the data. The method used was the Decision Tree Method. The results of the study found that these two concepts can provide the expected results. Based on the test results, it is known that the attribute that influences the success of student studies is the grade point average (GPA), where the accuracy of the maximum recognition rate is 88.19%.
