Based on a pre-survey at the Nan Sabaris District Public Elementary School, Padang Pariaman Regency, it was found that teacher performance was still low. This may be caused by various factors, one of which is the less conducive school climate that takes place at the Nan Sabaris District Elementary School, Padang Pariaman Regency. This research aims to reveal how much influence school climate has on teacher performance. The sample for this research was 64 State Elementary School teachers, Nan Sabaris District, Padang Pariaman Regency, who had Civil Servant (PNS) status, who were randomly selected from a population of 178 people. The research instrument used was a Likert Scale model questionnaire which had been tested for validity and reliability. This research data was analyzed using simple correlation and regression techniques. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that teacher performance and school climate at SD Negeri Nan Sabaris District, Padang Pariaman Regency are already in the good category with the respective respondents' achievement levels being 81.64% and 80.56% of the ideal score. Furthermore, the results of the hypothesis test show that school climate has a significant effect on teacher performance by 3.3%..
AbstrakBerdasarkan prasurvey pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kecamatan Nan Sabaris Kabupaten Padang Pariaman, ditemukan bahwa kinerja guru masih rendah. Hal ini mungkin disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, salah satu diantaranya adalah kurang kondusifnya iklim sekolah yang berlangsung di SD Negeri Kecamatan Nan Sabaris Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap seberapa besar pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Sampel penelitian ini adalah guru SD Negeri Kecamatan Nan Sabaris Kabupaten Padang Pariaman yang berstatus Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) yang berjumlah 64 orang yang dipilih secara acak dari populasi yang berjumlah 178 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket model Skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan teknik korelasi dan regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa kinerja guru dan iklim sekolah di SD Negeri Kecamatan Nan Sabaris Kabupaten Padang Pariaman sudah berada pada kategori baik dengan tingkat capaian responden masingmasingnya adalah 81,64% dan 80,56% dari skor ideal. Selanjutnya untuk hasil uji hipotesis diketahui bahwa iklim sekolah berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 3,3%.
