“…Thus, the results of this study accept the theory of Jenskins (1996) which says that the importance of empowerment enables people to do things they previously could not do, including the ability in recognizing self-emotion, managing self-emotion, motivating oneself, recognizing the emotion of other, and the ability to be able to foster the influence with others which is called as emotional intelligence. The results of this study confirm and broaden the findings of Alam (2010) which examines preposition test of the effect of psychological empowerment on the emotional intelligence.
