Writing skill is one of the four language proficiency aspects that students need to possess. However, some previous studies have revealed that students' narrative writing ability is still low. One of the efforts that can be made to address this issue is by using animation as a learning medium. This research aims to examine the extent of the influence of using animation as a learning medium on the narrative writing skill of elementary school students. This study employs a quantitative research method with a quasi-experimental design using the non-equivalent control group design. The research was conducted at SDN Cijati 1 Majalengka. The sample of the study consists of 50 respondents from Grade V students. The research instrument used is a written test through a post-test, and the data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that the narrative writing skill of students in the class that used animation as a learning medium is better than the class that did not use animation as a learning medium. Therefore, animation as a learning medium has a significant effect on developing students' narrative writing skill.

Learning in elementary schools is carried out with the aim of teaching students writing skills. This writing skill is important to have because it is one of the four aspects of language skills. However, many studies report that students' narrative writing ability is still low, so efforts are needed to improve it. One effort that can be done to overcome these problems is to use animated learning media. This study aims to see how far the influence of the use of animated learning media on narrative writing skills of elementary school students. This research method uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental model with a non-equivalent control group design. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 064006 Medan Marelan. The sample in this study were fifth grade students as many as 50 respondents. The research instrument used was a description test through a post-test while the data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative. The results of this study indicate that students' narrative writing skills in classes that use animated learning media are better than classes that do not use animated learning media. The conclusion from this study is that animation learning media has an effect on developing students' narrative writing skills.

Keterampilan menulis merupakan salah satu dari empat aspek keahlian berbahasa yang perlu dimiliki siswa. Namun beberapa studi sebelumnya mengungkap kemampuan menulis narasi siswa masih rendah. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran animasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran animasi dalam keterampilan menulis narasi siswa sekolah dasar. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan model quasi eksperimen dengan jenis non equivalent control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Ciangsana 04 Bogor. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V sebanyak 50 responden. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan soal tes uraian melalui post-test sedangkan Teknik analisis datanya mengunakan kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa keterampilan menulis narasi siswa pada kelas yang menggunakan media pembelajaran animasi lebih baik dibanding kelas yang tidak menggunakan media pembelajaran animasi. Dengan demikian media pembelajaran animasi berpengaruh dalam mengembangkan keterampilan menulis narasi siswa.
