PENGELOLAAN PERIKANAN TONGKOL LISONG (Auxis rochei) DI KAWASAN KONSERVASI PERAIRAN NUSA PENIDA, BALI

Abstract: Nusa Penida adalah kawasan konservasi perairan (KKp) yang memiliki keragaman jenis ikan yang tinggi. Penangkapan ikan target oleh nelayan perlu diatur dan dikelola dengan baik untuk menghindari tangkap lebih. Tujuan penelitian adalah menilai pengelolaan perikanan ikan tongkol lisong (Auxis rochei) yang sudah diterapkan di Nusa Penida menggunakan indikator Ecosystem Approach for Fisheries Management (EAFM). “…The total catch of fish resources for 2001-2015, neritic tuna showed an estimated potential of 586.128 tons in WPP 573 [1]. The large potential for neritic tuna has the risk of unsustainable fishing pressure and leads to a level of utilization that reaches highly exploited as predicted in the western waters of Sumatra [2] and around the island of Nusa Penida, Bali [3] so that strict monitoring is required to achieve sustainable fisheries management.
