Sasi is one of the local wisdom from Maluku as a form of prohibition for the community in taking natural products based on a certain time that has been determined by the authorized customary institution in an area. However, local wisdom is often ignored and considered outdated in the development of environmental conservation programs. Whereas in practice, armed with local knowledge capital such as biological and ecological knowledge, indigenous people have been able to successfully protect potential ecological processes and regenerate various varieties of plants and animals that are sasi. In addition, Sasi implementation activities can also have an impact on local ecosystem services so that the sustainability of local communities can take place economically, socially, culturally, and ecologically. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation activities of Sasi and the ecosystem services that are produced sustainably for the people of Maluku. The method used in this research is a systematic literature review. The results of this study show that Sasi implementation activities have a positive impact on ecosystem services in an area.

This study aims to identify, describe, and analyze the strength factors that can be controlled and used by the village government in improving welfare; village government strategies in improving welfare related to the use of strength; factors influence the village government's strategy in improving the public prosperity. The method used to solve the research problem was descriptive qualitative research method. Informants were determined by purposive sampling technique, namely the research sample taken not depending on the number of population but adjusted to the purpose. Methods of data collection were done by interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out by means of data reduction, data display, and data verification. From the results of the study, it was found that the resources of the Olilit village which were considered to be the strength of the village for improving welfare included the physical environment, tri sakti, tourism potential, culture and tradition, as well as the position of the western village in the district city. The strategy of the Olilit village government in improving the social prosperity was realized through the consistent attitude of the village government in paying attention to the operations of existing government officials and organizations, setting night study hours for students, fostering the younger generation, and providing compensation to families who were classified as poor, widows, and disabled. In addition, there are several factors that influence the implementation of the strategy, such as budget, facilities, consumerist lifestyle, political perspective of local government, and discipline.

Local wisdom can be interpreted as principles of life, behaviour, rules, and punishments, as well as a view of life that regulate life, so that it can regulate and managing natural resources in the natural, social, and economic environments. Even local knowledge have adapted to environment obstacle. This research aims to investigate traditionally local knowledge for confronting Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is qualitative with an ethnography approach and literature review. Data are collected through in-depth interviews with leaders of Urug and Cipatat Kolot societies. In order to investigate Baduy and Ciptagelar communities used a literature review. Data are supported by documentation and observation sources. The sample is selected using a purposive sampling technique. The result is analysed through triangulation, which is by mixing some gathered data methods. The result is that Urug society allocates rice each year from their paddy yields to the vulnerable groups such as orphans, elderlies, widows, and persons need most. Secondly, collective action is used to jump the capacity of people like women through nujuh bulanan. Thirdly, societies exert taboo to combat disaster and Covid-19, including by prohibiting community from trading paddies and rice. Another finding is that indigenous knowledge uses some life strategies and utilizes natural capital optimally for overcoming life perturbances. The last finding is that local knowledge has preserved agriculture jobs as a venue to survive.
