This study aims to develop a digital module in science learning to improve student learning outcomes. To this end, the research and development using the ADDIE model were applied. This research was conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 12 Langkat during the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The study participants were fifth-grade students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 12 Langkat. The object of this research was the development of digital-based modules. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The developed product was validated by three validators: a linguist, a media expert, and a material expert. Students' responses were also garnered. The developed digital module was proven to improve students’ learning outcomes 77.27% of students said they were happy with the subject matter and 86.36% of students were happy with the module components. Meanwhile, 72.73% of students were happy with the classroom learning atmosphere, and 86.36% of students were happy with the teacher's teaching method. The results of the assessment of the digital module showed that the product was deemed feasible. Students' responses to the digital module were very good. The digital science learning module developed in this study was proven to be able to improve the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 12 Langkat. This study contributes to the development of e-learning media in elementary education.

Pembelajaran hanya berpatokan pada buku paket, sehingga diperlukan bahan ajar berupa e-modul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada mata pelajaran tematik (Tema 6) untuk siswa. Subjek penelitian yaitu 1 ahli isi mata pelajaran, 1 ahli desain pembelajaran, 1 ahli media pembelajaran, 3 siswa untuk uji perorangan, dan 9 siswa untuk uji kelompok kecil. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode pencatatan dokumen dan metode kuesioner/angket. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model Hannafin and Peck, terdiri dari tiga fase utama: menilai kebutuhan, mendesain/merancang, mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan, di masing-masing fase melibatkan kegiatan evaluasi dan revisi. Hasil penelitian yaitu penilaian ahli isi pelajaran yaitu sangat baik. Hasil penilaian dari ahli media pembelajaran yaitu sangat baik. Hasil penilaian dari ahli desain pembelajaran yaitu baik. Hasil uji coba perorangan yaitu sangat baik dan uji coba kelompok kecil yaitu sangat baik. Disimpulkan bahwa e-modul layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. E-modul membantu siswa belajar tematik (Tema 6) sehingga motivasi belajar menjadi meningkat.

This research was motivated by several obstacles, including teachers in the learning process only focusing on thick textbooks and the student worksheets provided by the school were less interesting and effective. The aim of this research is to develop chart learning media based on Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) to improve critical thinking skills. This development research was carried out at Junior High School 7 of Bengkulu, Bengkulu Province - Indonesia using the Thiagarajan 4-D model which consists of four stages. The instruments used were media suitability validation questionnaires, teacher responses, student responses, and students’ critical thinking ability tests on STEM-based graphic media. Data from questionnaire analysis by calculating the percentage of achievement for each component is 86.6% (material expert), 100% (linguist), 98.75% (media/design expert), and 88.3% (test question expert) with the category suitable for use. The practicality of graphic learning media based on student response data and science teacher responses conducted in limited trials shows that STEM-based graphic learning media on Plant Structure and Function material includes very practical criteria for use without revision with percentages of 92, 80%, and 94%. The effectiveness of media has an important role and helps students develop their potential in the learning process. The conclusion of this research is that the media developed has been practically and effectively used as a learning medium in supporting the teaching and learning process on the structure and function of plants in improving the critical thinking skills of class VIII junior high school students.
