Pengetahuan Stunting Ibu Rumah Tangga di Pesisir Pangandaran Studi Kasus: Desa Kondangjajar, Kabupaten Pangandaran

Abstract

Stunting is a health issue that has received attention from many parties, including in Indonesia. Various efforts have been made, but Indonesia's stunting prevalence rate has not yet reached the ideal limit set by WHO, namely below 20%. Pangandaran Regency is one of the regions in Indonesia that is aggressively fighting stunting cases. One of the villages with stunting cases in Pangandaran Regency is Kondangjajar Village. Apart from active cases, the risk of stunting in this village is still quite large. To design a good and sustainable alleviation program, we need a good understanding of the level of knowledge of mothers regarding stunting in this village. This activity aims to explore this information using a survey method carried out at an integrated Service Post (posyandu) in Kondangjajar Village. The survey results showed that the female respondents in Kondangjajar Village provided information that education on stunting and its prevention was quite widespread. Almost all of the statements submitted were more than 90% "True" or "Agree". So, there are only a small number of mothers who may need to be given more education and attention regarding stunting and its prevention.
