Abstract: <p class="abstract"><strong>Background:</strong> Epilepsy is one of the most important neurological disorders, afflicting both genders during their lifetime. Metabolic disturbances, including hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia, are one of the main reasons of seizures in which frequently have been seen in diabetes mellitus.
