Pentylenetetrazol (PTZ) Kindling Model of Epilepsy

Abstract: This unit describes a protocol to perform chemical kindling in mice. Kindling is a chronic animal model of epilepsy that has been extensively studied to understand the process of epileptogenesis and discover novel anti-epileptic compounds.
