Abstract: The emergence of peptide−drug conjugates (PDCs) that utilize targetoriented peptide moieties as carriers of cytotoxic payloads, interconnected with various cleavable/noncleavable linkers, resulted in the key-foundation of the new era of targeted therapeutics.
