TPA Burangkeng hanya memiliki satu zona aktif (zona D) yang dapat digunakan untuk menampung sampah. TPA Burangkeng memiliki kapasitas untuk menampung 168.000 m 3 sampah, namun jumlah sampah yang memasuki TPA mencapai 940 m 3 per hari, dimana 82,41% nya merupakan sampah organik. Dari jumlah penduduk di Kabupaten Bekasi tahun 2018, dapat diperkirakan jumlah sampah yang dihasilkan adalah 0,8 kg sampah/orang/hari. Dengan menghitung laju pertumbuhan penduduk di Kabupaten Bekasi dan perkiraan jumlah penduduk hingga tahun 2025, volume sampah di Kabupaten Bekasi diperkirakan sekitar 964 ton per hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi energi dari sampah dan potensi pemanfaatannya guna memperkecil volume sampah yang dibuang ke TPA dan menjaga kelestarian TPA. Perhitungan dalam studi ini dilakukan dengan metode pengukuran langsung dan studi literatur. Didapatkan potensi kandungan gas metana pada zona D sekitar 60,7 %. Zona D sebagai satu-satunya zona aktif penampungan sampah di TPA Burangkeng memiliki potensi total volume gas metana mencapai 1.614.774 ton per tahun dengan potensi energi listrik sekitas 651 kW/jam.

Renewable fuels hold the key to the increasing energy demand and environmental issues. In recent years, the installed capacity of renewable energy sources has experienced rapid growth based on limited remaining oil reserves. Applying hydrogen/oxygen as fuel in combustion engines is possible. Hydrogen (H2) which burns with Oxygen (O2) in the combustion chamber, will produce H2O compounds that are environmentally friendly. In this study, we wanted to see the effect of increasing the voltage of the interface bipolar plate to increase the H2 and O2 gas molecules volume. The experimental results show that the breaking of bonds in water compounds which utilize the interaction force between fields and charges, has been affected by an increase in voltage. The time to convert the H2O compound into H2/O2 gas molecules decreases with the increasing voltage between interfacing electrodes. The voltage increase affects the Volumetric Flow Rate (VFR) of H2 dan O2 gas molecules. This study also shows that when a voltage of 10 Volts is applied at the electrode interface, charge transport occurs optimally.

The pyrolysis furnace material needs to be considered because this component affects the performance of the pyrolysis process. This component material is also essential; the selection of components used is AISI 4340 Normalized Steel, where this material contains Nickel, Chrom, and Molybdenum, with the characteristics of the AISI 4340 Normalized Steel material, which is a steel material that has high hardness properties, can accept significant pressures and forces and is not easily deformed. The method used is Finite Element Analysis (FEA); this method uses a mesh size of 5 mm to get more accurate results. Simulation results of the AISI 4340 Steel Normalized rear axle shaft to determine the values of stress, strain, displacement, and safety factor from temperature variations of 150 °C, 175 °C, 200 °C and 225 °C. The highest maximum stress value occurs at a temperature of 225 °C of 7.339 x 108 Nm. The highest maximum strain value occurs at a temperature of 225 °C of 1.892 x 10 3. The highest displacement value occurs at a temperature of 225 °C of 4.891 x 10 1. The safest safety factor value to use is 1.547 at a temperature of 150 °C. The temperature value is directly proportional to the stress and strain values obtained because the more significant the given temperature value, the greater the stress and strain values.
