This study aims to identify the latest evidence-based on the effect of social support on depression in chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. The research method used in this study is a literature review with a literature search using the electronic database CINAHL, PubMed, Pro Quest, Cochrane, Google Scholar, and Garuda. The results showed that the original sixteen articles met the inclusion criteria in 4 themes: social and family support that affects self-management and hope for progress, family support, emotional support, and appropriate and appropriate family support. In conclusion, all aspects of social and family license affect depression and anxiety in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. Patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) undergoing hemodialysis (HD) experience a decrease in physical health status that affects their quality of life. CKD patients need proper self-care management, including diet management to manage and maintain their health status. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the differences in the quality of life of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis between the various dietary management they undertake. Method: cross-sectional study design, samples of all CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis were 60 respondents. Dietary management measures are the subscale Hemodialysis Patient's Self-care Management Scale (HPSMS): dietary regulatory; food safety; and therapeutic diet implementation. Quality of life using the Kidney Disease Quality of Life (KDQOL) SF 1.3 instrument. The univariate analysis uses the central tendency and proportion, and bivariate analysis uses the Fisher-exact test. Results: the average age of 47.3 years, 53.3% of men, the median value of HD 10.5 months long, 58.3% did not work. 83.3% poor diet management, safe 83.3% poor food, 68.3% poor therapeutic diet implementation, and 81.7% poor quality of life of CKD patients. There was a significant difference in the quality of life of CKD patients between various dietary arrangements, (p=0.0001), safe food (p=0.013), and implementation of a therapeutic diet (p=0.027). Conclusion: A good diet management has the opportunity to improve the quality of life of CKD patients.

This study is an analytical descriptive study with a cross-sectional design that aims to determine the proportion and level of depression and anxiety of patients, as well as the relationship between the length of hemodialysis therapy with depression and anxiety of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease undergoing hemodialysis therapy at the Hemodialysis Installation of Dr. Moewardi Surakarta Regional General Hospital. Samples in this study were taken by purposive sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 31 research subjects. The specified data analysis is a Chi-square test analysis to test the relationship between variables. The percentage of anxiety among Chronic Kidney Disease patients receiving hemodialysis treatment at Dr. Moewardi Surakarta Regional General Hospital's Hemodialysis Facility is 29%, while the percentage of depressed patients with Chronic Kidney Disease undergoing hemodialysis therapy at the same facility is 41.9%. It has been determined that there is no discernible correlation between the duration of hemodialysis therapy and the emergence of anxiety and depression in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease at this specific healthcare center. To gain a more comprehensive understanding, additional research is warranted to investigate other factors linked to anxiety and depression in patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis therapy. Furthermore, there is a pressing need for the implementation of a screening program for Chronic Kidney Disease patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy at hospitals, with a potential referral to the Department of Psychiatry for the assessment and management of any mental symptoms that may arise.
