Abstract: Objectives: Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is the second-most common primary hepatic malignancy with an increasing incidence over the past two decades. CCA arises from the epithelial cells lining the bile ducts and can be classified as intrahepatic, perihilar, or distal based on the site of origin in the biliary tree.
