Performance Analysis and Optimization of RIS-Assisted Networks in Nakagami-m Environment

Abstract: This work studies and optimizes the performance of reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-aided networks in Nakagami- m fading environment. First, accurate closed-form approximations for the channel distributions are derived.
