Performance analysis of hybrid microgrids applying SoC-adaptive droop control

Abstract: This paper presents an algorithm for the operation of batteries within hybrid microgrids. The proposed strategy is not based on any communication, and each distributed controller uses only local measurements. The basic concept of the algorithm is to adapt the setpoints of droop control depending on the State of Charge (SoC) of the battery connected to its DC-link.
