<a name="_Hlk31039004"></a><span lang="EN-US">In terms of network simplification and regulation, Software Defined Networking (SDN) is a new form of infrastructure that offers greater adaptability and flexibility. SDN, however, is an invention that is logically centralized. </span><span>In addition, the optimization of the control plane and data plane in SDN has become an area deserving of more attention. The flow in OpenFlow has been one of the essential parameters in the SDN standards, in which every individual flow includes packet matching fields, flow priority, separate counters, instructions for packet forwarding, flow timeouts and a cookie. This research work is conducted in order to produce and collect flows from the OpenFlow switch in two scenarios; in normal flows and when conflict policy rules are enforced in the network. In this article, the throughput is required to review and evaluate the conflict impact on two protocols as a performance metric; the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and the User Datagram Protocol (UDP) that flows via a forwarded plane. During the simulation of the SDN OpenFlow network, the metrics are tested using MININET. The results demonstrate that the existence of SDN conflict rules allows TCP and UDP to have a significant average change in bandwidth that eventually affects the network and operations performance.</span>

Software defined network (SDN) is a new approach concept for planning, developing, and operating computer networks. Routing is the process of selecting paths on a network system to send or forward packets to the destination network. This study aims to obtain the results of the calculation analysis using the k-nearest neighbor (k-NN) method as the implementation of the recommendations. The results of the analysis use a mesh topology design approach with predicted values of throughput, jitter, delay, and packet loss. This value is used as a recommendation to the network manager to determine the best path. The best path selection from the analysis results is i) path-1 (very good) which includes switch 1, switch 2, and switch 4; ii) path-2 (good) to switch 1, switch 3 and switch 4 switch 4; iii) channel-3 (moderate) through switch 1, switch 2, switch 3 and switch 4; and iv) channel-4 (bad) through switch 1, switch 3, switch 2, and switch 4. While the calculation using the confusion matrix is accuracy=72.31%, precision=96.08% and recall=87.84%.

Internet network is beneficial to be able to support the needs of the learning process. However, a large number of internet users, for example, who access university data, can cause weaknesses in a system, making it very vulnerable to data theft, damage, and leakage of confidential documents. The obstacle faced is that the internet is getting slower due to many users using the internet network and not knowing the amount of bandwidth usage. A system is needed to determine the bandwidth usage for each client. This system To simplify the process of monitoring the internet network. It can view client browsing history and block website domains so that internet users in the world of education have positive characteristics and the internet is not slow. In this system, the admin will monitor the use of internet clients connected to the campus environment through the user name and password obtained for each student. The results of this research are the creation of an internet monitoring system for a proxy to monitor the maximum amount of bandwidth usage for each client, view the client's browsing history, and block website domains and client IPs. The admin can observe the internet network and monitor client activity that uses the internet network in the campus environment using the monitoring application.
