Performance comparison of DVR by various compensation methods

Abstract: When a sudden load is connected to the distribution system Voltage sag takes place.DVR (Dynamic Voltage Restorer) is one such custom power device which helps in mitigating voltage sag .The DVR injects required volt-ampere to the system in order to maintain nominal balanced sinusoidal voltage at the load.
