Performance Evaluation of Adaptive Receivers for Uwb Communication

Abstract: UWB (Ultra Wide Band) is a radio technology used at very low energy levels for short-range, high-bandwidth communications using a large portion of the radio spectrum. But MAI (Multiple Access Interference) degrades the performance of UWB systems. To suppress this, an α-stable model along with Fama/Roll-McCulloch parameter estimation technique is used.
