Abstract:Aims: Though Networked Control Systems (NCS) have great benefits, such as remote control, low costs, and better flexibility, it also has several drawbacks such as network-induced time delay and packet loss, which may result in performance degradation and system instability in nonlinear systems. This paper proposes a gain scheduling Proportional-Integral-Differential (GS-PID) controller design to address the performance degradation issues associated with NCS.
