“…On this basis, a heralded hybrid linear amplifier (HLA) [30,31], which consists of a deterministic linear amplifier (DLA) [32][33][34] and a measurement-based noiseless linear amplifier (MB-NLA) [35][36][37][38], is introduced to the receiver for improving the system performance of a four-state CV-QKD protocol. This combinatorial amplifier allows one flexible to tune the performance between high gain and high noise reduction, and control the trade-off between the amplification coefficient and a finite heralding probability flexibly [39]. Simulation results show that adding a hybrid amplifier can effectively improve the secret key rate and the maximum secure transmission distance of the underwater four-state CV-QKD protocol.…”
