Performance of Air-Conditioning System with Different Nanoparticle Composition Ratio of Hybrid Nanolubricant

Abstract: To reduce fuel consumption, the automotive air-conditioning (AAC) system’s coefficient of performance (COP) needs to be improved. The use of a diverse selection of hybrid nanolubricant composition ratios is expected to improve the properties of single nanolubricants, resulting in improved AAC system performance. The goal of this study was to find the best combination of hybrid nanolubricants for the best performance of the AAC system. Al2O3-SiO2/PAG hybrid nanolubricants at 0.06% volume concentrations with var… Show more

“…In addition, high temperatures and heating rates can be obtained through microwave heating (Ludlow‐Palafox & Chase, 2001) demonstrating remarkably high conversion efficiency of electrical energy into heat (80%– 85%) (Green et al., 2019; Osepchuk, 2002). Besides, there are numerous works in this regard related to the cooling and air conditioning systems (Alqahtani et al., 2023; Hussain et al., 2022; Zawawi et al., 2022).…”

“…[24] Recently, the functionalized nanofluids prepared by adding magnetic nanoparticles to lubricating oil have given SLIPS broader application prospects in anti-icing and other fields. [25][26][27][28][29] Mixing perfluorinated ligands with other nanoparticles with which they can form strong interactions can significantly reduce the vapor pressure of the compounds. Perfluorinated ligands are used to create self-suspending nanoparticle fluids, which are used as lubricants in SLIPS to highly inhibit the evaporation rate.…”
