Abstract: Background: The recently published 2019 American College of Rheumatology/European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (ACR/EULAR) classification criteria for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) were developed to increase the reliability and identification of SLE, especially in early disease.
