In 2020, the CoronaVirus Global Pandemic pressed pause on basic, everyday human activities all around the world. Except online. Hastings draws upon the power of performative writing and autonarratives to stitch together her memories of living and teaching online during a pandemic. By using digital communication tools and social media platforms, Hastings shows how she engaged in a new-age form of performative decolonization that is carried out through dramatic acts of digital advocacy.
