Performer selection in Human Reliability analysis: D numbers approach

Abstract: Dependence assessment among human errors in human reliability analysis (HRA) is an significant issue. Many previous works discussed the factors influencing the dependence level but failed to discuss how these factors like "similarity of performers" determine the final result. In this paper, the influence of performers on HRA is focused, in addition, a new way of D numbers which is usually used to handle with the multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) problems is introduced as well to determine the optimal pe… Show more

“…Uncertainty exist in the real world and uncertainty modeling has many math tools, such as fuzzy sets, probabilistic model, Z numbers, IFS, D numbers, entropy function, decision tree, pattern recognition, network analysis, and so on. D‐S evidence theory is a hot topic in decision theory, and the theory has a wide range of applications in many fields.…”

“…Among these methods, D‐S evidence theory has attracted many research’ attention due to its extension of Bayesian theory, with the efficiency to deal with imprecise information . Measuring the uncertainty of basic probability assignment function (BPA) in D‐S theory is essential and can be applied in many applications …”

“…Uncertainty is very important in many fields, which has attracted many researchers' attention . There are various models to handle uncertainty, including fuzzy sets, rough sets, Z numbers, D numbers, R numbers, intuitionistic evidence sets (IES), Two Dimension Belief Function (TDBF) and Dempster‐Shafer (D‐S) evidence theory and so on . D‐S evidence theory attract more and more attention due to it needs weaker condition than the Bayesian probability .…”
