The study investigates the critical factors affecting financial behavior in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). It analyzes the role of financial literacy, attitudes, and financial technology (Fintech) on financial management behavior among 1.1 million DKI Jakarta MSME stakeholders in 2020 through random sampling. The study reveals that heightened financial literacy positively influences financial management behavior. A solid foundation in financial knowledge, encompassing personal and corporate finance, leads to improved financial practices. This validates theories about cognitive biases, heuristics, and practical financial decision-making. Additionally, it emphasizes the pivotal role of positive financial attitudes in shaping financial management behavior. Stakeholders with constructive attitudes, such as financial self-control and proactive financial approaches, make sound financial decisions. This aligns with theories of planned behavior, which underscore attitudes in guiding future financial actions. Conversely, the influence of financial technology (Fintech) on MSME financial behavior is limited, primarily due to a lack of awareness and understanding among small and micro-enterprise operators regarding Fintech products and services. This study underscores the importance of promoting financial literacy, nurturing positive financial attitudes, and enhancing Fintech awareness among MSMEs. It offers actionable insights for policymakers, financial institutions, and business support organizations, enabling them to bolster MSMEs’ financial knowledge and practices, thereby supporting their role as economic powerhouses.

The phenomenon that occurs to female traders in the Kalisat market is financial knowledge where traders in the Kalisat market do not understand how to manage finances properly even though the proceeds from their sales are set aside to be saved every day. The researcher intends to measure the financial management behavior of female traders in the Kalisat market, Jember district by raising variables regarding financial management which refer to financial knowledge, income, financial attitude, personality and financial management behavior. The data obtained by distributing questionnaires through the Google Form. The population measurement was conducted by interviewing the head of the market management and the results obtained were 1,520 female traders. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula and the results obtained were 320 respondents with the criteria of being female, aged over 17 years and trading for more than 5 years. The method is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression tests. The results of the study stated that the financial management behavior of female traders in the Kalisat market in Jember district was positively and significantly influenced by the variables of financial knowledge, income, financial attitudes, and personality.

This study empirically analyses financial characteristics, namely the influence of economic knowledge of financial, attitudes, and financial experience on financial management behavior in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Pekanbaru, Riau. This research is a quantitative study, and this study uses primary data obtained through questionnaires. The population in this study was SMEs in Pekanbaru, Riau. The sampling technique in this study is convenience sampling. After conducting the questionnaire distribution, the sample obtained was 131 questionnaires. Data processing and analysis using SEM-PLS analysis are processed using Smart-PLS software assistance. The study results show that financial knowledge, financial attitudes, and financial experience positively affect financial management behavior.Keywords: Financial Management Behavior, Financial Knowledge, Financial Attitude, Financial Experience, SMEs
