Nonsuturing of the skin or the use of skin adhesives appears preferable in terms of pain. Nonsuturing could lead to more short-term skin separation when no adhesives are used, but there is no evidence for the clinical importance of skin separation. There is a need for studies with a follow-up of at least 6 months, in which pain is measured homogeneously and for studies comparing the use of skin adhesives with nonsuturing of the skin with the focus on long-term cosmetic results.

ABSTRAKSalah satu penyebab utama kematian ibu di Indonesia adalah infeksi. Infeksi terjadi karena dampak status gizi yang tidak adekuat sehingga mengganggu proses penyembuhan luka. Infeksi ini sebagai penyebab utama morbiditas dan mortalitas bagi kebanyakan pasien sehingga memerlukan perhatian klinis yang serius. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat konsumsi protein, zat besi (Fe) dan zinc (Zn) dengan kondisi penyembuhan luka perineum derajat II. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan cross sectional di BPS Ny. Sumidjah Ipung, Amd.Keb periode Oktober-Desember 2012. Jumlah responden yang digunakan yaitu 30 ibu nifas dengan luka perineum derajat II karena episiotomi dan melakukan kontrol pada hari ke 6-7 postpartum. Selain itu, dilakukan 2x24-hours Recall dengan kunjungan rumah dan observasi luka perineum pada ibu nifas yang kontrol pada hari 6-7 postpartum. Hasil uji regresi logistik menunjukkan bahwa tingkat konsumsi protein berpengaruh terhadap kondisi penyembuhan luka perineum derajat II (p = 0,008), sedangkan untuk tingkat konsumsi zat besi tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kondisi penyembuhan luka perineum derajat II (p = 0,518). Hasil uji chi square tunggal tingkat konsumsi zinc (p = 0,278) menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan tingkat konsumsi zinc dengan kondisi penyembuhan luka. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tingkat konsumsi protein memiliki pengaruh paling besar terhadap kondisi penyembuhan luka perineum derajat II dibandingkan variabel lain.Kata kunci: Nifas, Penyembuhan luka perineum derajat II, Protein, Tingkat konsumsi, Zat besi, Zinc. ABSTRACTOne of the major causes of maternal mortality in Indonesia is an infection. Infection occured due to the impact of inadequate nutrition that could interfere wound healing process. Infection is a major cause of morbidity and mortality for most patients that requires serious clinical concern. This study aimed was to determine the correlation between the consumption of protein, iron (Fe) and zinc (Zn) with second degree of perineal wound healing conditions. The design of this study used observational with cross sectional analytic in BPS Ny. Sumidjah Ipung, Amd.Keb during October-December 2012. The number of respondents was 30 mothers with second degree of postpartum perineal wound because of episiotomy and control on day 6-7 postpartum. Moreover, 2x24-hours recall was done with home visits and observations on maternal postpartum perineal wound that control on day 6-7 postpartum. Logistic regression results showed that protein consumption level affecting the condition of second-degree perineal wound healing (p = 0.008), meanwhile, the level of iron consumption did not affecting the condition of second-degree perineal wound healing (p = 0.518).
