Abstract: Learning Objectives: After participating in this continuing professional development activity, the provider should be better able to: 1. Describe the risk and impact of the use of opiates for pain relief in association with cesarean delivery. 2. Explain preoperative and intraoperative options to reduce pain and enhance postoperative recovery. 3. Recommend postoperative measures to enhance postoperative pain relief and recovery.
