Abstract: Introduction: Traumatic herniation of the leg muscle is not an uncommon condition. This may be a direct traumatic hernia caused by open injury to the leg, or an indirect traumatic hernia following blow to a contracted muscle causing rupture of the fascia and its consequent herniation.
