Peripheral osteoma of the mandible –an unusual presentation

Abstract: Osteoma is a benign osteogenic, mostly asymptomatic tumour characterized by proliferation of cancellous/compact bone. It is one of the rare entity with 0.01-0.4% prevalence, and 2.9% of all tumors; 12.1% of all benign tumors. This could be Central, Peripheral, or Extra-skeletal in location mostly occurring in the Cranio-facial bones.
