Abstract:The periphyton diversity of the spring-fed foothill stream Tamsa Nadi from Doon Valley, Uttarakhand, India was studied during March 2020 to February 2021. The outcome of the present study was that 29 different genera of periphyton, of which 49% belonged to Bacillariophyceae, 37% to Chlorophyceae, 9% to Myxophyceae and 5% to Copepoda class.
