Peritoneal Catheter Site Metastasis in a Patient With Advanced Ovarian Cancer

Abstract: Refractory ascites can significantly reduce quality of life in patients with advanced stage ovarian cancer. Paracentesis is a commonly used procedure for the management of refractory ascites. However, there are potential risks associated with paracentesis such as pain, infection, and injury to intra-abdominal organs.
