Abstract: IntroductionDue to treatment of end‐stage‐renal‐disease (ESRD), continuous peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) is used in 11% of cases and is associated with several PD‐associated infections.MethodsClinical data on 71 patients with CAPD were evaluated in addition to exit site infections and episodes of acute peritonitis (AP).ResultsThere were 39 men and 32 women.
