In the available case reports, L. adecarboxylata can be isolated from specimens including blood, wound pus, faeces, urine, gallbladder, peri-ciliary and ciliary abscesses, synovial fluid, peritoneal fluid from peritoneal dialysis, sputum, cerebrospinal fluid, and catheters[ 79 , 80 ].
