Abstract:During the initial phase of the depressurization exploitation process of natural gas hydrate, the reduction of pore pressure will cause effective stress concentration and consolidation deformation in the hydrate-bearing sediment (HBS), while the occurrence of the water-channeling phenomenon will trigger the rise of pore pressure and swelling locally in the reservoir. Evaluating the dynamic evolution process of HBS permeability is crucial for reservoir capacity. In this research, with the X-ray CT triaxial expe… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
