Objetivo: mapear as estratégias de coping que contribuem para o cuidado familiar à criança com síndrome de Down. Métodos: revisão de escopo, segundo o método JBI. Foram consultadas seis bases de dados eletrônicas e uma biblioteca virtual com apoio da plataforma Rayyan. Os critérios de elegibilidade foram estudos disponíveis e publicados na íntegra, que abordassem estratégias de coping no cuidado familiar a crianças com síndrome de Down. A análise dos dados foi do tipo narrativa. Resultados: foram recuperados 381 registros e 14 permaneceram nesta revisão. Seis estilos de coping foram identificados: manejo das emoções, tomadas de decisão, aquisição de conhecimentos sobre a síndrome de Down e situações que a envolvem, busca de apoio, comunicação intrafamiliar e com profissionais e práticas de espiritualidade. Conclusão: para equilibrar as demandas apresentadas pelas crianças e os recursos disponíveis, os integrantes da família precisam adotar estratégias cognitivas e comportamentais para lidar com as adversidades nos cuidados com a criança com síndrome de Down. Contribuições para a prática: o estudo apresenta evidências para nortear enfermeiros e outros profissionais de saúde a guiar famílias na utilização de diferentes formas de enfrentamento diante dos eventos estressores vivenciados por estas.

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengeksplorasi efek pengasuhan penuh pemahaman terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak-anak prasekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan adalah survei literatur yang merangkum informasi dari berbagai sumber yang relevan dengan subjek ini. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa pendekatan pengasuhan penuh pemahaman, yang cenderung memberikan kehangatan, pengertian, dan dukungan kepada anak-anak tanpa menekankan batasan yang kaku, dapat memiliki implikasi yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan dan pertumbuhan optimal anak-anak pada tahap ini. Dalam konteks pertumbuhan fisik, pola asuh permisif dapat menyebabkan anak kurang disiplin dalam menjaga pola makan dan gaya hidup sehat, yang pada gilirannya dapat memengaruhi pertumbuhan mereka. Sementara itu, dari segi perkembangan emosional dan sosial, anak-anak yang dibesarkan dalam lingkungan permisif mungkin mengalami kesulitan dalam menetapkan batasan, mengelola emosi, dan berinteraksi dengan orang lain dengan cara yang sesuai. Namun demikian, penelitian juga menyoroti bahwa dampak pola asuh permisif dapat bervariasi tergantung pada konteks budaya, kondisi keluarga, dan karakteristik individu anak. Beberapa anak mungkin mampu mengatasi dampak negatifnya dengan dukungan yang cukup dari lingkungan lain seperti sekolah atau teman sebaya.

(1) Background: Sports games are one of the best ways of engaging in physical activity for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID) and Down syndrome (DS). This systematic review of the current literature aims to identify and sum relevant data on motor skills and clarify whether there are positive effects of sports programs in motor skills games in children, adolescents, and youth with ID and DS. (2) Methods: The systematic review of the papers was carried out following the methodological guidelines and by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) consensus. The following electronic databases were researched: PubMed, MEDLINE, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and ERIC from 2001 to 2023. (3) Results: The basketball test battery can be used to improve and monitor basketball training. Basketball players with lower levels of ID achieved better results, especially those with disabilities of the II and III degrees. Futsal has a positive impact on the coordination, and the differences between the test results of the vertical jump with and without an arm swing, that can be seen indirectly as a coordination factor, were statistically significant. (4) Conclusions: Basketball is recommended as an effective and practical rehabilitation program for children, adolescents, and youth with ID and DS. Futsal is an interesting and helpful activity for individuals with ID as well.
