“…These residues from drugs, pesticides, and organic pollutants pose severe threats to the environment and organisms, and they are usually present at (ultra)trace levels in complicated matrices, which are hard to detect. MIP-SERS sensors have shown great potential to solve this problem. For example, a MIP-SERS sensor based on graphene oxide (GO), MIPs, and AgNPs has been fabricated for propranolol (PRO) detection (Figure A) .…”

“…e F e C log n 1 K log q log + = (11) where K f = Freundlich constant for adsorption capacity, n = Freundlich constant for intensity, q e = Amount of dye and metal adsorbed at equilibrium (mg/g), C e = Equilibrium concentration of the dye and metal (mg/L) A linear plot of log q e versus log C e was obtained and the values of K f and n can be determined from the intercept and slope of the linear plot, respectively. The Freundlich isotherm values for the adsorption of MG and Pb(II) were presented in Table 4.…”

“…Malachite Green (MG), which is a type of cationic dye, has been selected as the adsorbate in this study because from the available scientific evidence, MG poses a serious health concerning issue. MG is known to be a multi-organ toxin and its potential carcinogenic, teratogenic, mutagenic and genotoxic properties has been well documented [4,[7][8][9][10][11].…”

“…For this reason, it is necessary for sensitive and accurate determination of MG residues in fish products. Researchers have put forward a variety of strategies and methods for the determination of MG residues, including chromatography, , spectroscopy, and the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). , Chromatography and spectroscopy with high sensitivity and accuracy are used as standard approaches in the laboratory. Nevertheless, their analysis requires expensive equipment and complicated preprocessing procedures, which are unsuitable for rapid on-site testing of MG. ELISA has great credibility and is commonly used in the field of rapid detection, but its problems such as high labor intensity and expensive requirements for enzyme linked antibodies have many limitations on the routine analysis of MG. Electrochemical detection approaches are broadly applied to MG detection due to their simplicity of operation and portability. However, there are still many problems with electrochemical sensor methods such as the modification of multiple materials on the surface in order to improve the sensitivity of MG detection.…”
