Perspective on the description of viscoelastic flows via continuum elastic dumbbell models

Abstract: Non-Newtonian fluid mechanics and computational rheology widely exploit elastic dumbbell models such as Oldroyd-B and FENE-P for a continuum description of viscoelastic fluid flows.
