Perubahan Temperatur Permukaan Lahan Di Kota Bandung Tahun 2009-2018

Abstract

An example of the use of remote sensing technology is the ability to record the same area at different times, term as multi temporal resolution. These advantages can be used to observe dynamic phenomena of the earth's surface such as changes in land surface temperature. The results of land temperature recording by remote sensing thermal sensors can be observed at various observation scales, as well as the distribution. Bandung is the Capital City of the West Java Province which is constantly changing, including in terms of population growth. The uniqueness of the location of the city of Bandung, which is located in the center of the Bandung Basin with variations in the topography of the area, is the basis for conducting research with the aim of: 1) Analyzing changes in land surface temperature in Bandung in 2009 -2018, 2) Analyzing the effect of population growth on changes in land surface temperature in Bandung. This study uses the method of processing infrared and thermal infrared channels to obtain changes in the value of Land Surface Temperature (LST), and statistical analysis of population growth data to be compared. The results of the comparison between statistical data on population growth and LST measurement results show that in theory and concept of population growth has a role in increasing land surface temperature. However, there are other factors that can be considered as causes of rising land surface temperature. Slight population growth but in areas where land use is heavily converted to built land tends to have a high land surface temperature value compared to areas with a significant increase in population but has not converted to much natural land use.
