Pesan dari Editor-in-Chief: Riset Psikologi Sosial yang Dibutuhkan Indonesia

Abstract

AbstrakBerangkat dari latar belakang bagaimana peranan psikologi sosial dalam penyelesaian masalahmasalah di masyarakat, pada bulan April 2019, Jurnal Psikologi Sosial (JPS) dan Ikatan Psikologi Sosial (IPS) menyelenggarakan dua diskusi dengan topik "Identifikasi Kebutuhan Riset Psikologi Sosial di Indonesia". Pertanyaan yang diajukan: Riset psikologi sosial apa yang dibutuhkan oleh Indonesia? Untuk menjawab pertanyaan ini, diperlukan identifikasi kebutuhan riset psikologi sosial di Indonesia yang didasari identifikasi terhadap masalah sosial dan antisipasi kemungkinankemungkinan perubahan yang terjadi di masyarakat Indonesia. Tulisan ini memaparkan sebagian hasil dari dua diskusi itu tentang identifikasi kebutuhan riset psikologi sosial di Indonesia, mulai dari mengenali tuntutan yang ditujukan kepada Indonesia sebagai sebuah negara, mengenali kondisi aktual yang berlangsung, kemudian usulan riset psikologi sosial yang dibutuhkan Indonesia.Kata kunci: identifikasi riset psikologi sosial, peran psikologi sosial, penerapan psikologi sosial AbstractAddressing the question of social psychology role in solving problems that exist in society, in April 2019, Jurnal Psikologi Sosial (JPS) and Ikatan Psikologi Sosial (IPS) held two discussions on the topic entitled "Identification of Social Psychology Research Needs in Indonesia". Within this discussion, a question was formulated: What kind of social psychological research that is needed in Indonesia? To answer this question, it is necessary to identify the needs based on the identification of social problems and anticipation of possible changes that occur in Indonesian society. This paper presents a part of the results of the two discussions about the identification of research needs in Indonesia. Respondent-driven sampling (RDS) method: Introduction and its potential use for social psychology research
