“…In this paper, we present new zircon U‐Pb age, Hf‐O isotopic, whole‐rock major and trace element, and Nd isotopic data of the plutonic rocks from Güdül to Torul in the EP (Figure c). Our data, together with the data from the adjacent regions in the literature (Tables S1 and S2; e.g., Karsli, Dokuz, Uysal, Aydin, Chen, et al, ; Kaygusuz et al, , , ), reveal the presence of approximately 91–75 Ma magmatism with a compositional transition from low‐K to high‐K calc‐alkaline series at approximately 84 Ma. These results, in combination with the changes of sedimentary facies before and after the Upper Santonian (approximately 84 Ma) (Bektaş et al, ; Eyuboglu et al, ), allow us to attribute the changes of magma composition to the slab rollback of the southward subducting Black Sea (Paleotethys) oceanic lithosphere at approximately 84 Ma.…”

“…The Nd‐Hf isotopic variations of the Late Cretaceous magmatism match well with the geophysical results nowadays. Nd‐Hf isotopic data in the literature are from Dokuz (), Karsli, Dokuz, Uysal, Aydin, Chen et al (), Karsli et al (), Kaygusuz and Aydincakir (), Kaygusuz and Sen (), Kaygusuz et al (, , , , , , ), and Topuz et al ().…”
