“…In addition, it had weak positive correlations with SiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 , CaO, and kaolinite, suggesting that fluorine occurred in a variety of minerals. Meanwhile, in Shengli coal of Inner Mongolia, elemental F was found in illite and the illite smectite mixed layer (IS), which was verified by the strong positive correlations between F and ash yield, SiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 , and K 2 O (r > 0.95) [62].
