Abstract:With the release of AlphaFold2, protein model databases are growing at an unprecedented rate. Efficient structure retrieval schemes are becoming more and more important to quickly analyze structure models. The core problem in structural retrieval is how to measure the similarity between structures. Some structure alignment algorithms can solve this problem but at a substantial time cost. At present, the state-of-the-art method is to convert protein structures into 3D Zernike descriptors and evaluate the simila… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
