Abstract: Ginger is scientifically known as Zingiber officinale. Zingiber officinale {ginger} widely used in pharmaceutical approach. 6-shogaol, 6-paradol,6-gingerole,zerumbone and zingerole are some active ingredients available in ginger. Ginger has been used commonly to treat diarrhea, indigestion, nausea, heart burn, cough, bronchitis, asthma, diabetes and menstrual irregularities.
